An Introduction to the Woodland Enterprise Grant (WEG)

Shropshire Rural Hub - Tuesday 17 Aug 2010 at 9.30

This one day event will look at the positive impact on wildlife through sustainable woodland management. We will consider which species benefit from woodland management, whether for woodfuel or conservation. The event will also provide a guided introduction to the WEG and how it can help your Forestry micro-business within the West Midlands. We offer full details on the Woodland Enterprise Grant, how it is implemented and an introduction to improving the economic value of wood-lands. We will also consider other sources of funding in the region. The event will be conducted in woodlands so please wear appropriate footwear.

24th August 2010 - Clunton Coppice, Clunton
