Have you too many apples and not enough ideas as to what to do with them? Why not turn them into delicious fresh apple juice at the next Ludlow Local Produce Market this Thursday (28th October). Apple expert’s Ruth and Judith from Tickmore Apple Juice will be at hand with their apple press, so bring any apples you may have, either cookers or eaters along on the day between 9.30 – 2pm. It is best to wash the apples at home in advance and if you have some clean bottles or containers bring those along to take home juice in. The pressing will take place in front of the market in Castle Square and there will be some apple bobbing for children. There is no charge for this event.
The Ludlow Local Produce Market is Ludlow’s farmers market, all stallholders are directly associated with the production of their food or drink and come from within thirty miles of the town. With over thirty stalls it’s a great shopping experience for real local food people.
