JCB Academy
This is the first of a brand new kind of school in the United Kingdom, focused on delivering high-quality engineering and business education. The curriculum and learning techniques are unique, allowing students to combine theory with practical activities: putting learning into practice in our purpose-built, state-of-the-art facilities. The hours are more like business hours than normal schools and sixth form colleges, but the curriculum encourages a structured and effective use of time.
This progressive, 21st Century approach to education has some very traditional values at heart, placing huge emphasis on self-discipline, good behaviour, uniform, teamwork and co-operation.
Wootton Organic Farms Ltd
Wootton Organic Farms, which is licensed with the Soil Association, has been fully organic since 2001. It operates within an extended food chain company where much of the produce is marketed under the brand “Daylesford Organic”. Daylesford Organic’s main outlet is at the Daylesford Farmshop near Kingham, Gloucestershire, but there are also stores in London as well as concessions in several leading London retailers such as Harrods and Selfridges
