Business Opportunity in Madeley

Published on Wednesday 16 Nov 2011 by Staffordshire Rural Hub

The Madeley Centre is a well-equipped newly opened community facility in the heart of the rural village of Madeley in North Staffordshire. The building has a 200-seater main hall with stage, sound and lighting systems. There are 4 smaller rooms for hire for meetings, activities and groups. There is a Rural Hub where organisations can rent a ‘Hot-Desk’ and an Internet Café where locals can get on-line to pick up emails, research and complete homework or just surf.

The Centre also has an on site cafeteria where members of the community can drop in for a coffee or light meal.

Attached to the Centre is Lea Court which comprises 63 two- bedroomed apartments for the over 55s.

There is now an exciting opportunity for the right person to establish a business within the Centre. We have a 44.8 square meter retail unit available to lease.

The Trustees of the charity are particularly interested in encouraging new business in the Madeley and surrounding rural area. It is essential that the retail facility does not compete with current businesses within the village. They are particularly keen to hear from anyone wishing to pursue a business opportunity that supports and compliments the ethos of the Madeley Centre.
