Calling all farmers in the Garren & Gamber interested in the Capital Grant Scheme 2011/12
The Catchment Sensitive Farming Capital Grant Scheme for farm improvements will be available again for farmers within the Wye Catchment.
This year the target areas remain the same as last, being concentrated in the Garren and Gamber sub-catchments.
The grant is part of the England Catchment Sensitive Farming Delivery Initiative.
Funding this year could help with a number of changes including:
- Roofs for Slurry & Silage stores (CSF026)
- Roofing of manure storage & livestock gathering areas (CSF023)
- Cattle tracks/farm access (CSF021), in particular farm access
- Cross drains on or in farm tracks (CSF011)
- Resurfacing gateways (CSF016)
Application packs will be available shortly, and must be returned by 30th April 2011.
