Catchment Sensitive Farming Capital Grant Scheme
The Catchment Sensitive Farming Capital Grant Scheme for farm improvements will be available again this year for farmers within the River Tern and Roden Catchments. The grant is part of the England Catchment Sensitive Farming Delivery Initiative.
This year the target areas remain the same as last, being concentrated around the Lonco Brook, the Bailey Brook and the Upper Reaches of the Roden. The funding this year could help with a number of changes including;

2. Roofing of manure storage and livestock gathering areas.
3. Sediment ponds and traps.
4. Swales with check dams.
5. Pesticide sprayer loading and wash-down areas.
6. Watercourse fencing.
