Walford and North Shropshire College is delivering a course  on Cow Signals at the Walford Campus on Saturday 28 January 2012  10.00am – 3.00pm. The course will be delivered by Karen Lancaster who is a qualified vet and the DairyCo specialist in Cow Signals. 

What are your cows quietly telling you about your management and their environment, and how can understanding these subtle physical and behavioural signs help you make small, inexpensive but hugely beneficial changes to your farm? Come along and learn how to make your cows happier, healthier and more profitable.

The course will cover the following:

• How to assess whether your buildings and management are right for your cows.
• A practical session in the shed putting these principles into practise
• Discussion of our findings on the farm and practical changes that could be made

The cost is £12.46 per person this includes light refreshments.
Places are limited so bookings will be on a first come first served basis.
