The first of a series of events from FARM CARBON, a free, carbon-accounting service for farmers in the LEADER area of south Shropshire – see map on website for details.

Title: ‘Cutting the Cost of Carbon’

Venue: Plowden Hall, Lydbury North, Shropshire, SY7 8AQ

10 -12:00 Introduction and Farm Carbon project

12 - 12:45 Lunch

12:45 - 1:30 Farm Walk round Plowden estate, led by Roger Plowden
1:30 - 3 Workshops/Discussion groups 1) on all the above topics, plus:

Farmers will be free to move around each of the 9 discussion groups as
they wish, for a ‘rolling discussion’ in each one.
If you have a renewable project on your farm in mind, bring along as
many details as possible for an in-depth discussion.

Maximum: 35 farmers. We expect to be fully booked, so early registration is essential.

Cost: £20 To include lunch and refreshments (subsidised). Payable on registration.

The Farm Carbon accounting service is available until early 2012, but there is a limit on numbers.
