Shropshire Rural Hub - Thursday 10 Mar 2011 at 0.00

metnet is delighted to announce its first environmental technology Conference on

Thursday 10th March 2011
at
Ludlow Racecourse
Bromfield
Ludlow
SY8 2BT

The day includes 30 exhibitors and a full programme of business briefings throughout the day - including two presentations by major speakers.
If you are a business within the environmental sector - or a business looking to assess the market opportunities the sector might offer you - this event will enable you to access a wealth of information and expertise all in one place, on one day.

The business briefing sessions include presentations by planners from the local Councils, the latest news on Fits and the Renewable Heat Incentive, an outline of the skills and qualifications that are now available within the sector, and an update on what funding and support is still available to enable businesses to grow and develop.

If you are looking to move into this sector, the region’s universities will be available to highlight their particular specialism, both in terms of research and facilities, that could provide the next ‘big idea’ in terms of environmental products and services.

The day also offers a great opportunity to network and make new business contacts.

Full programme details can be found below and on the metnet website www.met-net.co.uk and apply to join the Marches Environmental Technology Network group on LinkedIn where we will post regular updates.
