Three Meaty Events in the Wyre Forest
Meat Retailing for Farmers Tuesday 22nd June
9.30am- 3.30pm
Uncllys Farm, Bewdley, Worcs. For any farmer who would like to sell meat direct to the public. Marketing, legislation, options and opportunities for selling, costing, pricing, packaging, labelling, customer care etc.
Adding Value to Meat- sausagemaking, pastrami, ham, bacon curing etc Wednesday
23rd June
9.30am- 3.30pm
Uncllys Farm, Bewdley, Worcs. For primary producers who would like to add value to meat produced on the farm. A demonstration of sausagemaking, bacon curing and other techniques, together with costings, legislation, useful contacts.
Led by a farmer, for farmers.
Walk The Supply Chain. Visit a small charcuterie, pigs grazed in woodland followed by a tasting seminar.
Monday 28th June
3pm- 9pm
Far Forest, Bewdley, Worcs. Visit two small rural businesses to see great ideas in practice. Discussion, ideas, inspiration and innovation followed by a locally sourced supper including produce from these businesses.
Cost is £28 per person including vat and lovely locally sourced lunch/supper
