Farming Futures - European Study Tour
A partnership of Walford and North Shropshire College and the Shropshire Fresh Start Academy has been awarded ECOTECH funding for a project entitled, ‘Farming Futures’.
This project is looking at the way other European countries (in this case Poland) support and encourage new entrants into farming.
There is an opportunity to take part in a study tour to Poland. The purpose of this study tour will be to look at the way in which new entrants are supported in Poland, look at farming practices and experience some Polish culture.
The programme for the study tour is flexible and can be tailored to suit the requirements / satisfy the interests of the candidates who participate.
The study tours will be for two weeks in duration and will take place from 8th - 21st March and November 2010 (date to be confirmed).
All expenses for this trip will be met and full translation services will be provided.
