Update on West Midlands budget after the CSR
- Wendy Jones (Senior Project Manager in the Natural England Farm Advice Unit)
ELS, UELS & HLS uptake in the West Midlands
10.00 am - Uplands Entry Level Stewardship in detail
- Mervyn Edwards will provide background on the development of UELS,
& what we are looking for in a UELS agreement.
11.00 am - Tea and Coffee
11.15 am - Practical walk around the farm
- Looking at UELS options:-
grassland and hedgerow management, resource protection.
- Julie Button (Natural England local team member) will be providing a
background to the farm, enterprises and present options on the holding.
12.30 pm - Back to the building for Tea and Coffee
We will be walking around the farm, so please bring suitable wet weather gear, wellingtons/boots and waterproofs. In addition please bring a third edition ELS handbook which includes the Uplands ELS supplements.
