Horticulture Value Chain Improvement - Introductory Diagnostic Day
This day will introduce a programme of value chain improvement in the West Midlands and will provide an insight into the practical business training support that is available to growers and packers. The day is offered at no charge (subject to availability) at the business’ premises.
The format of the day is flexible around the theme of Value Chain Improvement (David Simons/Kate Bailey Cardiff University). An example agenda is:-
• How to create effective chains and maximise scarce management resources;
• Lean Value Chain Mapping case study in Horticulture;
• A bespoke top level value chain analysis for the business.
