FWAG, GWCT and the CLA invite you to join them on a farm walk to discuss:

How to manage your farm for Grey Partridge & Farmland Birds

Wednesday 6th July 2011- 2.30pm

Millichope Park, Munslow, Craven Arms, Shropshire

by kind permission of Mr & Mrs F S Bury

Grey partridge and other farmland birds. A practical look at how to integrate the “round the year” requirements of farmland birds into a modern farming regime using the Stewardship schemes and the Campaign for the Farmed Environment. A jointly run day with GWCT, FWAG and CLA.
The walk will give a fantastic opportunity to see first hand some of the key habitats that benefit grey partridge and many other farmland birds. We will take a close look at these management options, discussing the practical pros and cons of establishing and managing habitats (including weed control!) and whether or not they may be appropriate for the land you manage.
Alex Butler (GWCT), Chris Seabridge (FWAG) Liam Bell, (Gamekeeper) and a (Natural England) Environmental Stewardship Project Officer will all be on hand to give advice.

£10 per person, including afternoon tea.

Booking essential – please forward a cheque made payable to FWAG to:
