Keep H2O Low - FREE Water auditing and Training for Arable and Horticulture Farmers

Herefordshire Rural Hub - Wednesday 9 Mar 2011 at 9.30

Keep H2O Low
FREE water auditing and training for arable andhorticulture farmers.

Water is an important farm resource which has a financial and an environmental cost to the business. Furthermore, there is increasing competition for the fresh water available in certain parts of the UK and its costs are rising rapidly. Added to this sudden rainfall events lead to diffuse pollution and the loss of nutrients and crop protection products from farmed environments.  Managing water wisely, assessing and enhancing the efficiency of on-farm water use saves money and helps plan for future needs. If you are interested in managing your water more effectively, then this FREE workshop is for you!
