LIFE AFTER FWAG in SHROPSHIRE

Published on Tuesday 13 Dec 2011 by Shropshire Rural Hub

As many of you may already be aware, the Farming and Wildlife Advisory Group (FWAG) went into Administration on 18th November 2011.  As a result, all staff were made redundant, but many of us, including myself in Shropshire, plan to continue to provide a valuable advisory service, on farming and environmental issues, as independent advisors.

Over 15 years of working for FWAG in Shropshire, I have had the privilege of meeting and working with many committed and enthusiastic land owners and farmers, and look forward to doing so for many more years in the future.  I will continue to work locally, mainly within Shropshire, plus north Herefordshire, south Cheshire and west Staffordshire.  There may also be future opportunities to work with former FWAG colleagues, either on a regional or a collaborative project basis.

FWAG may have folded, but Alison Jones is very much open for business!
