Making the most of Environmental Stewardship with special focus on managing for farmland birds

The farm walks are suitable for farmers who have not yet taken out Environmental Stewardship agreements as well as existing agreement holders to come along to learn more about managing arable options for the benefit of local wildlife. The walk will cover:
The importance of farmland birds and the different species.
• Practical solutions to ensure farmland birds survive and thrive.
• The financial incentives through Entry Level Stewardship.
The walk will be delivered by Joe Winstanley on behalf of Natural England.
