Making the most of your Environmental Stewardship with special focus on water quality.

The farm walks are suitable for farmers who have not yet taken out Environmental Stewardship agreements as well as existing agreement holders to come along to learn more about managing resource protection in the catchment areas of rivers designated as SSSI. The walk will cover:
• Principal sources to pollution – soil erosion, spray, poaching etc - and highlighting the results of resource pollution for the environment, flooding and agriculture.
• Methods and practices for reducing resource pollution, improve the quality of water and for repairing existing damage.
The walks will be delivered by Tim Monckton on behalf of Natural England.
