Masstock – West Midlands Seminars 201l

Shropshire Rural Hub - Friday 25 Mar 2011 at 9.30

Understanding how to benefit from opportunities available to the farming industry.

Identifying new business opportunities and having the skills and knowledge to plan a new enterprise are of increasing importance to all farm businesses.

Masstock Farm Consultancy, the business consultancy division of the leading agronomy based supply company Masstock has secured funding within the Lantra Landskills programme (part of the Rural Development Programme for England) to provide bespoke training courses for farmers. This training is aimed at helping farmers acquire the skills and knowledge to take new opportunities to successful fruition.

Scheduled Seminars
New opportunities may be within renewable energy, a major new market for farmers supported by the Feed in Tariffs and Renewable Heat Incentives, but they do require considerable preparation and planning.

In addition we already see a need for farm businesses to review and manage their carbon footprint if they want to secure sales to specific markets.

MFC have therefore prepared specific courses to look at these opportunities alongside more generic business planning skills.

These courses are being held at venues in Ludlow and Redditch as detailed out below:

Friday 25th March 2011
