Non-chemical weed management for vegetable production

This day will look at the cultural, mechanical and physical options, to reduce chemical and labour costs in vegetable and row-crop production. Suitable for both organic growers and conventional growers wishing to reduce their herbicide use. With a wide range of weeding kit on display, this day will be hosted by Arrow Organic Vegetables Ltd at Pembridge in Herefordshire.
Available to producers with a holding number in the West Midlands (including West Midlands, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Warwickshire, Worcestershire and Staffordshire) for just £24 (£28.80 inc.VAT) each course thanks to 80% funding from LandSkills West Midlands. Producers outside of the region can also attend the course for £40 (£48 inc.VAT).
