Packaging – unwrapping savings through EcoDesign
SBEN in partnership with Envirowise would like to invite you to a half day packaging event, on 2nd March, at The Pavilion, Branston Golf & Country Club, Nr Burton-upon-Trent.
Although packaging has been seen as a priority waste stream and environmental “concern” for many years now, recently it has been an area of increased focus. Consumers are becoming less tolerant of over-packaging and both the press and politicians are joining the debate. This seminar will look at the legal and financial drivers for reducing packaging, explain the different packaging design strategies that could be adopted and consider the practical application of such strategies through a hands-on packaging review exercise.
Beth Haste from the Environment Agency will also be giving an update on Packaging Regulations cases and fines (see the attached agenda for full details).
The cost is just £30 for RE:think Energy members (£60 for non members) including light breakfast and lunch.
