Progressive Poultry Courses for Broiler Producers - Apply now for funded training

VETERINARY HEALTH 2  -

Under the new "broiler welfare directive", training in poultry health and welfare will be legally required for all staff working with poultry raised for meat.

To prepare broiler producers for these changes, The Minster Veterinary Practice is offering a number of poultry health & welfare courses this autumn.

The courses are 80% funded by Landskills West Midlands (managed by Lantra on behalf of the West Midlands Development Agency).

The Progressive Poultry Courses for Broiler Producers are as follows:-

Modules at Belmont Lodge & Golf Club, Belmont, Hereford, HR2 9SA
   - Wednesday 3rd November   - Veterinary Health 1
   - Wednesday 10th November - Veterinary Health 2
   - Wednesday 24th November - Vaccination & Medication
   - Wednesday 1st December   - Poultry Welfare
   - Wednesday 8th December   - Biosecurity

Module at The Minster Veterinary Practice, Hereford
   - Wednesday 17th November - Laboratory Practical Session

Module venue to be confirmed
   - Wednesday 15th December - Farm Practical Session

All modules start at 9.30am.
Cost £35 per person per module.
