RE:think Energy Climate Change Debate
The Moat House, Acton Trussell
23 November 2011 4pm
Can technology alone combat climate change or will a change in behaviour be required?
This event will provide you with lots of ideas on how your business can adopt technology and make behavioural changes, to save you money and combat climate change.
More information about the event is available at www.sben.co.uk
What are your views........and will you change your mind after listening to our two captivating speakers?
Professor Tony Marmont, from Beacon Energy (www.beaconenergy.co.uk ) / Air Fuel Synthesis Ltd (www.airfuelsynthesis.com ) will be covering the technology viewpoint. We've had several SBEN enviro visits to Beacon Energy and many of you will remember how passionate Tony is about the work that he does.
Sue Prince OBE DL, from Beechenhill Farm in the Staffordshire Peak District (www.beechenhill.co.uk ), will cover the 'change in behaviour' aspect. Sue is extremely passionate about the environment and is an eco ambassador for Staffordshire and an ecotourism consultant (working locally and internationally). Sue is also involved in many other initiatives, including customising and leading the rollout of the Staffordshire Environmental Quality Mark (SEQM) and running an award winning farmhouse ecotourism business!
The whole debate will be chaired by Mark Shayler of Tickety Boo and again Mark will be known to many members.
