Uncertainty in prices, yields, government policies, and foreign markets means that risk management plays an important role in our farm business decisions.

This is the first of two courses looking at risk, for farm profitability. Health planning is very important - it's about establishing a holistic relationship across the whole farming group, including your vet, staff, nutritionist, suppliers.

Representatives will be on hand from the Animal Health Veterinary Laboratories Agency (AHVLA) and Staffordshire County Council’s Animal Health team and local vets. The evening will include practical and hands on advice with a walk around the college farm.

Cost: £20 per person
