Riverbank Management in Herefordshire
For farmers who work and own land along the
Herefordshire riverbanks and tributaries.

Programme
• Meet at Monkland Village Hall
• Short presentations from:
John Evans & Paul Flynn (Environment Agency)
Simon Evans (The Wye & Usk Foundation)
Topics that will be covered are:
• Update on current legislation
• The role of statutory bodies
• The Landowners roles obligations and options
• How to source:
- available funding for river bank and flooding issues
- dealing with invasive weeds
This will be followed an evening walk alongside the River Arrow when you will have the opportunity to discuss the above topics and view the wildlife and diversity.
Finish back at the village hall for a ploughman’s supper.
