Riverbank Management in Herefordshire
Another event for farmers who work and own land along the Herefordshire riverbanks and tributaries.

Programme
• Meet at Lower House Farm
• Short presentations from:
John Evans & Paul Flynn (Environment Agency)
Simon Evans (The Wye & Usk Foundation)
Topics that will be covered are:
• Up date on current legislation
• The of role of statutory bodies
• The Landowners roles obligations and options
• How to source:
- available funding for river bank and flooding issues
- dealing with invasive weeds
This will be followed an evening walk alongside the River Frome when you will have the opportunity to discuss the above topics and view the wildlife and diversity.
Finish back at Lower House Farm for light refreshments.
