Sustainability of the Wood Fuel Supply Chain

This event will be held at Cannock Chase and Abbotts Bromley.
Starts 9.00am, finishes 1.30pm.
This half day event, led by James Cartwright, will be a practical Woodfuel demonstration event in Staffordshire. The event starts at the Marquis Drive Visitor Cen-tre, Cannock Chase. Delegates will visit a harvest-ing site on Cannock Chase where you will see Staf-fordshire Biomass harvesting timber for wood fuel. Delegates will be given plenty of time to discuss harvesting systems, site considerations, machin-ery and woodfuel markets in detail.
After this we will go onto the Staffordshire Bio-mass fuel depot at Abbotts Bromley to see their processing depot in action with a chipping demon-stration. There will also be a question and answer session to cover a range of issues including fuel specifications, supply chain and delivery consid-erations and an optional Biomass Boiler Tour.
This is an outdoor event so suitable clothing should be worn. The event costs £5 which includes light snacks and refreshments.
