Catton Hall is a traditional sporting estate that has been in the hands of the Neilson family since 1405. The head gamekeeper has worked here all of his working life as did his father, grandfather and great grandfather before him, I can therefore, think of no finer setting for the BASC Gamekeepers’ Fair than this fine parkland Estate.

As is the tradition of BASC we aim to produce a show that is true to its roots. Keepers, stalkers, shooting men and women and country lovers from all walks of life will find a variety of entertainment that is fitting of this traditional show.

• Fascinating displays and demonstrations
• Gundog competitions
• Game’s On Food Hall
• Stalking Village
• Shopping at quality trade stands
• Activities and entertainment for all ages
• Pigeon plucking competition
• Game preparation
• Stick dressing
• BASC clay shooting school
• Air Rifle Field Target Shooting
