Recently returned from working in Brussels, Gail Soutar, NFU Senior CAP Adviser will provide an update on CAP, its affects on the UK agricultural industry and its future. Derek Pugh will provide an insight into the farm’s wild bird seed diversification enterprise on the 212ha mixed family farm. The farm is currently in the process of converting from Countryside Stewardship into Entry Level / Higher Level Stewardship and the walk will reveal the expectations of all concerned when integrating the Environmental Stewardship scheme into a farm business.
