The New to Nutrient Management Guide
Created by Tried & Tested, the New to Nutrient Management Guide is designed especially for those who are new to nutrient management, or are in need of a simple step by step guide to ease them through the process of creating a nutrient management plan. The short guide explains the four steps of nutrient management planning:
1. Determine the supply of nutrients from the soil 2. Look up crop nutreint requirement at that level of soil supply 3. Estimate the supply of nutrients from any organic manures applied 4. Deduct the estimated manure nutrient supply from crop requirement to find the amount of fertilser to apply.
Alongside useful tips there are checklists of the information you will require before you begin and reminders to check you are compliant with NVZ regulations.
