Timber - Is there a market?
A one day event looking at the process from forest to market.
Tuesday 29th June, 10.15am - 3.30pm
The day will start at Pontrilas Sawmills, and will be followed by a tour of Certainly Wood.
Pontrilas Timber, a family business which started in 1947, has a wealth of experience in manufacturing and the timber trade. A traditional knowledge of the market and a commitment to continually invest in modern plant and machinery, provides customers with quality products and efficient deliveries.
George and Nic Snell set up Certainly Wood just over 4 years ago, and are now the UK's largest firewood producers, specialising in premier kiln dried firewood and kindling. They produce over 12,000 tonnes per year of hardwood firewood, and sell throughout the UK via a network of retailers.
