Timber - where is it? Is there a market?
A one day event that provides a look into the process from forest to market. The day will onclude a look around Pontrilas sawmills, followed by a tour of Certainly Wood, giving you the perfect opportunity to see these two flagship businesses.

George & Nic Snell set up Certainly Wood just over 4 years ago and are now the largest firewood producers in the UK specialising in premier kiln dried firewood and kindling and selling throughout the UK through a network of retailers. They now produce over 12,000 tonnes per year of hardwood firewood.
June 29th, Start at Pontrilas Sawmills Herefordshire, then on to Certainly Wood.
Arrive 10:15am - Finish around 3:30pm
The course will cost £5 which includes lunch and afternoon tea.
