This event is aimed at anybody running rural or food producing businesses, and explores new approaches to running a traditional or rural business.
Hosted on a traditional livestock farm producing organic beef, the event is held in the stunning barn converted into a cookery theatre. For any business that uses or sells food this is a
fantastic opportunity to enjoy a business development / inspirational day, but intermingled with food demo’s and cookery demo’s in this stunning setting. Clare Tetley set up Seasoned Courses in 2009 to establish a niche in the cookery school market in the West Midlands. Clare has a marketing background and has some really interesting marketing ideas for her new business.

10.15 Lower Hurst Farm to talk about their background, the farm and why they diversified, how they embrace healthy eating and sell that concept
10.30 Talk from Clare Tetley about Seasoned Courses, how she
approaches her business, her selling techniques, branching out e.g. could a tea rooms organise a demo for local community? Could retailers get their farmers or a chef to come and make a stand in their shop for the day? Getting people, shops, retailers to experiment with your food – producing recipe leaflets?
