Opening Doors Start-Up Training Programme is a 3 day intensive course covering everything you need to know about starting and growing a successful business. It is accredited by Harper Adams University College so academic credits are awarded and can count towards a higher award if you wish.
There are three classroom teaching sessions where delegates learn all about business and have the chance to network and share the journey with a group of "like-minded" rural businesses.
The course covers the following: Confidence, values, goals and inspiration; Business strategies, market and financial research; Understanding business planning; Legal and financial 'must do's'; Marketing and creating a business plan; Developing logos and branding; IP and protecting your product/service; Websites and social media; Understanding cash flow, book keeping and tax; Creating profit and loss accounts; Pricing, margins, mark-up and their implication.
