Young Farmers enjoy evening at Buttercross Farm

Last Tuesday Ashley Young Farmers and Market Drayton Young Farmers attended a meeting with a difference at the local Buttercross Farm. Members had the opportunity to see where their favourite cuts of meat come from, and even had a go and making their own sausages! They even managed to try the delicious sausages and thoroughly enjoyed this privilege!
Chairman Phil Brindley said, “The evening was great fun. It was a great opportunity for the members to see where meat comes from; just showing that it does not come pre-packaged in the supermarket.”
